- About the Album:
- Caetano Brasil & Big Band do Conservatório de Tatuí is an exceptional collaborative musical partnership between the virtuosic Brazilian clarinetist Caetano Brasil and the Big Band do Conservatório de Tatuí. In May 2026, they released their highly anticipated album titled Tataporã. Born out of a successful live concert series originally performed in May 2025, the album serves as a rich musical dialogue that seamlessly bridges traditional big band jazz architecture with modern Brazilian instrumental music. The album's title, Tataporã, originates from the Tupi-Guarani language, roughly translating to “beautiful fire”.
