- About the Album:
- Franz Danzi: Flute Quintets op. 50 was released in 2026, by the German label CPO. The album features the Ardinghello performing the complete three quintets that make up Franz Danzi's Opus 50 set. Written during a time of immense stylistic evolution, these pieces elegantly bridge the gap between late-Classical gallant writing and the emerging early Romantic era.
